4. Die Weihnachts Ecke – This store is located directly next door to Karamell-Kuche and sells a variety of household items and decorations. Guests love looking around in Die Weihnachts Ecke especially because of their large Christmas tree decorated with beautiful glass ornaments. A great German Christmas tradition that guests can learn about in the store is the hiding of the pickle which they can then replicate at home by purchasing a pickle ornament for their own tree! When I was growing up, we didn’t do the pickle, but to this day, we are still doing a lot of wonderful German traditions…ask me and I’ll tell you.
